No, this isn’t a new release — originally unleashed in 1991 —but it’s going to be dope to possess on re-issued, limited edition vinyl. Master is one of many bands that pioneered the old-school death metal sound but didn’t become a household name within the genre like Death, Obituary, or Morbid Angel.
Nonetheless, this classic album is a solid addition to any metalhead’s collection. It has that vintage Scott Burns-engineered, Morrissound Studios kick-to-the-head flavor, and vicious thrash/hardcore elements.
