You can't win. Everybody, whether its because of race, gender, religion, beer preference, you name it, feels they're entitled to some form of attention or sympathy for their subjective hardship. It's the victimhood olympics. Best not even acknowledge it and waste energy trying to debunk people's stereotypical judgments. Just keep being you.
